Be first when we launch —
For Philanthropists & Family Offices
A founding philanthropic partner can help seed the first wave of long-term accounts and establish the infrastructure for a new model of economic participation in Canada.
In a Nutshell
Compound Canada is built around a simple idea. Every Canadian child should have access to a long-term account from birth, designed to grow over time and support retirement security later in life.
A focused, partner-assembled platform, working alongside a not-for-profit structure, can help put ownership within reach of every Canadian family from day one. Participation can be supported through employers, families, philanthropic partners and, over time, public partners.
What Unlocks Launch
We are already in conversations with employers interested in supporting a child benefit for their workforce, including an initial contribution for each eligible child.
What unlocks launch is a founding philanthropic partner who can help seed the first wave of accounts and change the posture of early partner conversations. It is the difference between proving the model slowly and arriving with a first cohort ready to support.
It also changes the conversation with regulated program partners. Instead of asking partners to wait for demand to build, we can demonstrate early capital, early participation and a credible path to scale.
Our Philosophy
"The most powerful thing you can give a child isn't a cheque — it's a seat at the table of economic participation."
Our founding anchor partners are not simply making a donation. They are helping establish a new participation model for Canada — one designed to make ownership visible earlier, more accessible to families and more durable over time.
The Structure
A philanthropic pledge to the not-for-profit is intended to support eligible children's long-term accounts through governed program infrastructure.
Compound Canada coordinates the operating standard, account visibility and reporting. It does not hold funds, provide investment advice or make investment decisions.
01 — Pledge
A philanthropic pledge is made to the Compound Canada not-for-profit structure to support seed contributions for eligible children's long-term accounts.
02 — Direct
Funding is directed through governed program infrastructure to support individual children's long-term accounts, with account matching and eligibility controls designed to support one account per child.
03 — Custody
Funds are held and invested through regulated Canadian partners. Compound Canada coordinates the operating standard, account visibility and reporting. It does not hold funds.
Get Involved
We are in early conversations with a small number of Canadian family offices and philanthropists about a founding role. If this aligns with how you think about long-term impact, we would welcome a conversation.
