A long-term account. Not just a savings habit.

This is not an RESP or a short-term savings account. Compound Canada coordinates access to a long-term account for your child, supported by regulated Canadian partners and designed to remain in place for decades.

Family and friends can contribute for birthdays, holidays and milestones through a simple contribution link.

The account is designed to support long-term ownership and retirement security later in life. Starting early gives time the chance to do what time does best.

How It Works

Simple for parents. Powerful for kids.

01

Activate your child's account

A parent or guardian can activate the account experience and access visibility once eligibility and identity checks are completed through governed program infrastructure.

02

Seeded through employer or philanthropic support

An employer, philanthropic partner or future public partner may help fund the initial contribution for eligible children through governed program infrastructure.

03

Family and friends can contribute

Grandparents, relatives and friends can contribute through a shareable contribution link or QR code, where available.

04

Directed through regulated partners

Contributions are directed through governed program infrastructure. Regulated partners remain responsible for custody, payment movement, portfolio management and investment execution.

05

Financial literacy as a by-product

Seeing a long-term account grow over time can help children understand ownership, compounding, time, fees and risk in a way that feels personal and practical.

Share your child's QR code — every contribution can compound.

Every occasion. Every milestone.

Instead of another gift that gets outgrown or forgotten, family and friends can contribute to something designed to last.

Birthday

The gift that outlasts the cake

A birthday contribution can become part of a child's long-term account, giving family members a simple way to mark the occasion with something designed to grow over time.

Holidays

Something that lasts longer than December

A holiday contribution can support a child's future in a way that feels personal, practical and lasting.

Milestones

First steps. First words. First stake.

From baby showers to first days of school, every milestone can become an opportunity to add to a child's long-term account.
